Oxygen Administration


Purpose:
This unit covers competency in advanced techniques for management of the administration of oxygen and ventilation of the lungs in line with the requirements of the Australian Resuscitation Council and State and Territory regulatory bodies.
Course Format: 2 hours face-to-face training
Renewal 2 hours - proof of currency required
Recommended Renewal Interval: Yearly
Assessment: practical continuous assessments during face-to-face and a short theory exam.
Qualification issued:
Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment for:

HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Standards: The course complies with policy advice from the Australian Resuscitation Council
